A media team of eleven journalists from eight major Turkish media outlets on Sunday visited Kezilgaha Becan Tower in Kuqa, northwest China's Xinjiang Autonomous Region. Kuqa, whose ancient name is Qiuci, was famous for its fusion of eastern and western cultures. Turkish journalist Adnan Bulut from Anka News was deeply impressed by Kuqa's profound history after visiting Exhibition Hall of Fengsui Culture and Kezilgaha Becan Tower. He said, "There are several places which have impressed me deeply since I came to Xinjiang five days ago, and Kezilgaha Becan Tower is one of them." "I can feel its profound history," said Adnan, "as an important station of the Silk Road where eastern and western cultures fused, Kuqa is of great significance."
