From hair loss solutions to CO2 Tech and 'Brain Gym': Meet first-round teams at "She Loves Tech 2024" China Finals

This program is part of the “Listening to Wise Women, Seeing Chinese Culture” series by the Beijing Women’s Federation, and today we’re coming to you live from the China Round Final Pitch of the “She Loves Tech China 2024” Global Startup Competition. As a key initiative of the “Beijing Action for Women in Technological Innovation,” this competition is well aligned to Beijing’s positioning as a hub for hi-tech innovation and a center of international exchanges. The competition has become an international platform that offers professional guidance, funding, and resource support to women who start their businesses. It’s designed to showcase the innovative spirit of women entrepreneurs and foster global collaboration.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the competition. Over the past decade, it has constantly evolved and connected entrepreneurial women from over 70 countries across five continents. Through innovation, this event fosters collaboration and exchange among women worldwide, aligning with the “International Science and Technology Cooperation Initiative” to build an open, global ecosystem for cooperation in the field of science and technology. This year’s theme, “Supernova: limitless potentials and a journey beyond boundaries!” highlights the boundless potential of tech startups, the growing role of women in tech entrepreneurship, and the immense opportunities that technological advancements bring to humanity.

This year, 12 entrepreneurial teams have made it to the China Finals of the “She Loves Tech” Global Startup Competition. They will showcase their innovative ideas and take questions from the judges. Let's hear from the first five teams:

1. Tongtan Chuangke:  Tongtan Chuangke's project is called "Solid-State Battery Financing Plan", it primarily focuses on green energy innovation in the field of smart urban furniture, enhancing green energy applications in smart cities through safer and more environmentally friendly solid-state batteries.

2. Rootique: A pioneer in the revolutionary hair loss treatment process by launching complementary hair loss treatment devices.

3. Power Glue: Specializes in providing more efficient risk control management methods for the film and television industry.

4. Blue Wind: New CO2 Capture and Conversion Technology, committed to providing carbon peaking and carbon neutrality technology solutions for industrial and energy enterprises.

5. ExeBrain: ExeBrain pioneers the concept of a "Brain Gym"; utilizing neuroscience and non-invasive brain-computer interface technology to provide comprehensive solutions for brain rehabilitation, development, and optimization.
