The 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (“China Airshow”) officially kicked off on November 12. AVIC Avionics Systems Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), showcased a variety of products in both the military and civil domains, offering a holistic display of its capabilities and achievements in airborne systems.

The 2024 China Airshow featured a significant expansion of the military airborne systems exhibition, showcasing 72 exhibits – an increase of 25 from the previous year, and involving a wide range of products, from foundational components to advanced systems. For the first time, military airborne systems were presented in a systematic and layered manner, spotlighting cutting-edge advancements in avionics, electromechanical systems, flight control systems, integrated energy systems, and health management systems.

The civil airborne systems were displayed for the first time in a standalone exhibition area. Featuring “One Integrated Platform + Seven Key Systems,” the exhibition leveraged virtual and physical demonstrations to present comprehensive technologies, ranging from foundational products to core systems, signaling the future trends in marketization, scaling, industrialization, and internationalization of civil airborne systems.

To enhance audience engagement and interactive experiences, the event leveraged a variety of hands-on displays, such as a civil aircraft integrated procedure trainer, an Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) for civil aircraft, an interactive low-altitude avionics platform, an advanced helicopter flight control system cockpit, an aerial refueling simulation training platform, and the “Longzhi Avionic” concept cockpit. These interactive experiences allowed visitors to explore the latest advancements in airborne systems in an immersive manner with thrilling flight simulations.
