As part of the "Experience Chinese Culture with Smart Ladies" series, brought to you by the Beijing Women's Federation, we had the pleasure of visiting the Beijing Eight Imperial Handicrafts Museum.

What are the Beijing Eight Imperial Handicrafts? They include gold lacquer inlay, filigree inlay, cloisonné, ivory carving, jade carving, carved lacquerware, Beijing embroidery, and palace carpets. Each of these remarkable crafts is recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage, reflecting Beijing's rich history and its role as a cultural epicenter.
