The 9th Asian Winter Games (AWG) officially came to a close on February 14, 2025, following an exciting and record-breaking series of competitions.

China topped the medal table, securing 32 gold, 27 silver, and 26 bronze medals, tying the record for the most gold medals ever won at the Games that was previously set by Kazakhstan in 2011.

The 2025 Games also marked a milestone for Team China, which sent its largest-ever delegation of 170 athletes. Competing across all 64 events, China demonstrated not only its competitive strength but also its dedication to advancing winter sports nationwide.
The success of the Games in Harbin underscored China’s growing influence in winter sports and further solidified the country’s commitment to nurturing future generations of athletes.
