KUALA LUMPUR, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) --Malaysia's Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture unveiled a promotional video highlighting the country's unique attractions, here on Wednesday in a bid to boost arrivals as part of its Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign.
In a special screening ceremony, the video showcased points of interest in Malaysia's various states, including Kedah, Selangor, Malacca in Peninsular Malaysia, as well as the Northern Borneo states of Sabah and Sarawak featuring nature and archeological sites as well as food and shopping destinations.
Malaysia's tourism sector has continued to see a post-pandemic rebound with 38 million international tourists being recorded in 2024, compared to its target 35.6 million, according to the ministry. ■
