At the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting in Beijing, Simon Lichtenberg, All China Founding Chairman of the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China, highlighted China's positive role in driving global economic growth and emphasized how open trade can foster civilizational exchange.
He pointed to China's market vitality, manufacturing strength, and openness to innovation as key advantages for international businesses. Referring to the letter he received from President Xi Jinping, Lichtenberg said it reflects China's commitment to working with the global business community to build the future together.
"Trade itself is also a form of cultural collaboration," he said, emphasizing that business ties can deepen mutual understanding between civilizations. "The best ambassadors for cultural exchange are people who have lived in each other's countries — and many of them are businesspeople."
