The "Girls Shaping Tomorrow" (GST) program organized by the Beijing Women's Federation held a special event at the Beijing Science Center, August 26, 2025. Women scientists were invited to share insights on global cooperation in nuclear energy and underscore the vital role of women in advancing science. Xiao Lili, Senior Project Officer of the China Atomic Energy Authority, stressed the need for more women to join the nuclear field and break new ground. Li Jinfeng, Professor of the China Institute of Atomic Energy, commended Chinese women scientists for their contributions on the international stage and voiced hope that the younger generation — including her daughter — can one day advance green energy and environmental protection worldwide.
