At the 2025 World Internet Conference Cultural Heritage Digitalization Forum, Katharine Butler, CEO of Museus Inc., expressed that in the current context of the rapid development of digital technology, leveraging artificial intelligence to expand access to culture is very important.
She noted that technological innovations will draw more people to the cultural sphere and museums, a trend already evident especially in China where museums are often crowded, and emphasized that the interaction between digitalization, related technologies, and ancient cultural relics holds a promising future.
Butler also acknowledged that Chinese technology is at the cutting edge of current possibilities, and commended Chinese companies for their outstanding performance in cultural technology.
