On the occasion of World Savings Day on October 31, the traditional virtue of saving is finding fresh expression across campuses in China. From fun waste-sorting games and themed paper-cutting to transforming discarded materials into handicrafts, schools nationwide are promoting a culture of frugality through lively hands-on activities. Children learn to cherish resources and turn waste into treasure, bringing the concept of conservation to life. These creative efforts show that saving can be a way of life — and a shared responsibility to protect our green planet.
