HANOI, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's capital Hanoi plans to develop the Red River landscape boulevard project with a total estimated investment of 338 trillion Vietnamese dong (about 12.84 billion U.S. dollars), local daily VnExpress reported Tuesday.
The project is divided into three urban zones along sections of the river, comprising parks, craft villages, tourist ports, residential areas along with sports, public, cultural, commercial, entertainment facilities and industrial clusters.
Located within the city's Ring Road 4, the boulevard will include two roadways running along both banks of the river with a total length of 92 km.
Two single-rail monorail lines with a combined length of 85 km will also run along both sides of the river.
Construction is scheduled to begin on Dec. 19 this year and be completed by 2030, the report said.
