MOSCOW, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Russia's presidential special envoy Kirill Dmitriev said his meeting with U.S. presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff in Davos, Switzerland was constructive, the Russian daily Izvestia reported Tuesday.
"The meeting is proceeding constructively, and more and more people are realizing the correctness of Russia's position," he said.
Dmitriev held talks with Witkoff and U.S. President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos on Tuesday.
Witkoff described the talks that lasted over two hours as "very positive" when asked by the media. ■
