Warm Laba Festival activities spread across China

The Laba Festival has arrived, bringing warmth, joy, and festive cheer to families and communities across China. Schools in north China's Hebei Province, east China's Jiangsu Province, northwest China's Gansu Province, and other regions have held lively themed activities to welcome the Laba Festival. Through explaining Laba customs, identifying ingredients for Laba porridge, and hands-on making of Laba porridge and Laba garlic, children learn about the festival's traditions, experience the charm of Chinese culture, develop practical skills, and foster teamwork and creativity. At the same time, heartwarming volunteer services are underway nationwide, with communities offering "Laba porridge of love" free of charge to delivery workers, couriers, and other frontline workers, spreading social warmth, promoting mutual care, and adding a personal, caring touch to the traditional festival.
