As the Spring Festival is just around the corner, a festive buzz is spreading through the streets of Beijing. Running through Feb. 14, the 30th Old Beijing New Year Goods Fair at the National Agricultural Exhibition Center in Chaoyang District has drawn large crowds eager to prepare for the holiday. The fair offers a one-stop venue where visitors can soak up traditional festival culture while stocking up on New Year essentials.
Spanning more than 10,000 square meters, the event brings together hundreds of specialty vendors from across China and abroad. Inside the exhibition halls, time-honored domestic food brands share space with regional delicacies, while some booths invite visitors to sample their offerings.
An imported goods section adds an international touch, featuring products from Europe to South Asia, including chocolates, red wine and incense sticks.
Bustling crowds, lively bargaining and vendors' calls fill the halls, creating a vibrant holiday marketplace brimming with New Year cheer.
