"Women in Space Award" winner highlights China's support for global scientists, calls for international cooperation

At the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum on Women in Sci-Tech Innovation, Dr. Madiha Rasheed, a "Women in Space Award" recipient and a postdoctoral fellow at the Beijing Institute of Technology, underscored the importance of international cooperation in addressing global challenges and building a shared future for humanity. Supported by the Chinese Government Scholarship and guided by Professor Yulin Deng, she reflected on her journey in aerospace research and highlighted China’s role in empowering women scientists. She encouraged young women worldwide to pursue careers in science, emphasizing that talent knows no gender and that collective efforts can benefit all humankind.
