
The Communist Party of China (CPC) had nearly 101.29 million members as of the end of 2025, according to a report issued Tuesday ahead of the Party's 105th founding anniversary.
The number increased by more than 1.01 million, or 1 percent, from the end of 2024, said the report released by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee.
The CPC had over 5.43 million primary-level organizations as of the end of 2025, up by 181,000, or 3.4 percent, from the end of 2024.
The composition of the CPC membership continued to improve in 2025, according to the data.
By the end of 2025, members with a junior college education or above exceeded 59.76 million, accounting for 59 percent of the total, up 1.4 percentage points from a year earlier.
Women made up 31.5 percent of the membership, while members from ethnic minority groups accounted for 7.8 percent, up 0.6 and 0.1 percentage points, respectively.
Workers and farmers remained the largest segment of the Party, representing 32.4 percent of its total membership.
