2026 Global English Education China Assembly kicks off at BFSU in Beijing

The 2026 Global English Education China Assembly officially opened on July 24 at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). Centered on the theme “Foreign Language Education in the AI Age: Humanistic Commitment and Civilizational Mission”, the assembly aims to explore the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence technologies with English education and advance the high-quality development of foreign language education.

The assembly has brought together experts and scholars from China and abroad in fields including English education, artificial intelligence and international communication. Through keynote speeches, thematic seminars, workshops and other formats, participants will share research findings and practical experience in language education over the following two days.
