Rooted in Beijing's unique urban context, global brands are pursuing localized cultural adaptation rather than simple replication, from lifestyle boutiques embedded in traditional courtyard architecture to luxury flagship outlets in core business districts. Meanwhile, local time-honored brands are achieving innovative renewal by aligning with international trends, and emerging immersive experience stores are redefining retail through interactive IP scenarios. Together, they form a multi-level consumption landscape that blends tradition with modernity, and Eastern heritage with global vision.

According to official data released by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Beijing launched 83 first stores and more than 520 brand debut events in the first half of 2026. The booming first-store economy serves as a key driving force for Beijing's development into an international consumption center. It not only injects sustained vitality into the city's consumption upgrading, but also builds a bridge for two-way exchanges between global commercial creativity and local cultural connotations.
