Dominican MP lauds China's people-centered development experience

During the 2026 Interregional Seminar on the Achievement of the SDGs for Parliaments of Developing Countries, Lorie Victor, Member of Parliament of the Commonwealth of Dominica, underscored the significance of bolstering international cooperation on artificial intelligence, particularly among countries in the Global South. She stated that AI presents valuable opportunities for developing countries in sectors including education, agriculture and tourism.

She also praised China's people-centered approach and broad public participation in development, noting that China's experience has offered valuable lessons for Dominica and other developing countries.
