Police arrest 10 criminals, recover 5 firearms in W. Afghanistan

KABUL, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- Police arrested 10 alleged criminals and recovered five firearms in western Afghanistan's Nimroz province on Sunday, spokesman for the provincial police office Mawlawi Gul Mohammad Qudrat said Monday.

The personnel of counter-terrorism took into custody two criminals and seized five arms from their possession, the official said.

Eight more criminals who were involved in armed robbery, forgery, immorality and human trafficking were also arrested from the provincial capital Zaranj city on the same day. ■
