Dominica MP calls for greater women's participation in leadership and decision-making

Lorie Victor, Member of Parliament of the Commonwealth of Dominica, highlighted the vital role women play in advancing gender equality at the 2026 Interregional Seminar on the Achievement of the SDGs for Parliaments of Developing Countries.

She stressed that achieving gender equality requires women and men to share responsibilities and work together as equal partners. She also called for greater representation of women in leadership and decision-making positions, noting that women's participation can help drive better outcomes for society.
