Altogether 50-plus small-and medium-sized enterprises (SME) from Germany, Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Poland, and nearly 200 from China got together at the First China-CEEC SME Cooperation Forum held in Changzhou, Hebei Province on Monday, discussing the new development mode of SME in China and Central and Eastern Europe.
China-CEEC (Changzhou) SME Cooperation Zone, established in Changzhou in February, is devoted to strengthening China's cooperation with European countries in the fields of modern technology and service, general aviation, high-end manufacturing, and green agricultural products.
At present, the cooperation zone focuses on building of high-tech emerging industrial cluster covering business, research and development, cultivation, and manufacturing.
At the forum involving general aviation, high-end manufacturing,commercial service, and cultural exchange, a total of 16 projects have been signed, with total investment reaching 8.8 billion yuan.
