Miao embroidery lifts farmers out of poverty in Guizhou, SW China
On May 21, 2020, Miao embroiderers were embroidering at the Miao Embroidery Base of Songtao Miao Autonomous County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province.
In recent years, the local government has adopted the model of "company+base+peasant household", which has driven more than 4,000 women around the base to find jobs and start their businesses, while turning "fingertip skills" into an important force to promote accurate poverty alleviation.
