China's first sea-launched rocket successfully blasted off from the Yellow Sea
On Sept 15, 2020, China successfully sent nine satellites of Jilin No.1 Gaofen 03 series into a 535-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit by a Long March-11 carrier rocket at the Yellow Sea. Once the satellite is put into orbit, it will be mainly used to obtain high-resolution remote sensing images and videos, which can provide remote sensing data services for China's land and resources monitoring, smart city construction, forestry resources census and other fields.
