Policy Advisor to BFA Secretary General Zafar: Vision of community with shared future is symbol of China sharing benefits of its progress

BOAO, Hainan, March 29 (Guangming Online) -- The 2023 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) opened its annual conference in Boao, south China’s Hainan Province on Mar. 28, 2023. Delegates from governments, business, academia and media from all over the world dived deep into the theme of the conference “An Uncertain World: Solidarity and Cooperation for Development amid Challenges”.

Guangming Online interviewed Zafar Uddin Mahmood at Boao Forum for Asia about China’s global participation and the vision of a community with shared future for mankind on Mar. 28, 2023. Mr. Zafar is the Policy Advisor to the BFA Secretary General and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan. He is also the former Special Envoy for China Pakistan Economic Corridor. He said his home country Pakistan can achieve high-speed development towards modernization only because of China’s support and guidance, and this is one example of China's willingness to share the benefits of its progress with the rest of the world.
