The Winter Solstice is one of the 24 solar terms in China. On this day, the traditional customs include eating dumplings and tangyuan. To help children better appreciate the charm of Chinese traditional culture, schools across the country have begun organizing winter solstice-themed activities. Led by their teachers, children learn to make dumplings, create ink paintings, craft hand-cut winter paper decorations, prepare tanghulu, and more. Through these hands-on experiences, they not only find joy but also immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere of the Winter Solstice.
