At the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting in Beijing, Himadrish Suwan, Chairperson of the Confederation of Young Leaders in India, called for greater unity amid global uncertainty.

He believes the event sends a powerful message — that the world must come together to build a shared future for humanity.

Suwan highlighted recent positive developments in China-India relations, particularly the resumption of people-to-people exchanges. He also expressed hope for deeper cultural cooperation, citing shared traditions such as the Lantern Festival and Diwali, the Dragon Boat Festival and Onam.
