SHANNAN, July 28 (Guangming Online)--Located in the historic region where Princess Wencheng is said to have refined the craft of highland barley wine, Qangkyim Village has recently developed a rural tourism route centered on its historic manor, local barley wine culture, and outdoor leisure areas known locally as "linka." The 400-year-old Qangkyim Estate, once a noble estate, now serves as a cultural center showcasing both the tangible and intangible heritage of Qonggyai County, offering visitors insight into early Tibetan aristocratic life and local traditions.

In Tibetan culture, a "linka" refers to a traditional garden or outdoor space used for relaxation and social gatherings, often featuring natural landscapes and communal activities. To enrich visitor experiences, Qangkyim Village has built tent hotels, a camping restaurant, and a bonfire performance area. Since opening, the area has welcomed over 8,000 tourists and generated 380,000 yuan in revenue, contributing more than 150,000 yuan to the village's collective income.

The village has also improved its living environment by creating 105 "beautiful courtyards" and expanding its number of homestays from 15 to 45, further supporting rural revitalization.
