CBA Roundup: Zhejiang beat Jilin, Sichuan past Shandong

ZHUJI, China, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Jilin's Dominique Jones notched a incredible near triple-double of 55 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists, only to see the Zhejiang Golden Bulls seal the victory with 112-107, while the Sichuan Blue Whales beat the Shandong Heroes 114-106 in the CBA here on Thursday.

With Haddadi's double-double of 21 points and 19 rebounds, the Sichuan Whales beat the Shandong Heroes 114-106 and extend their CBA winning streak to six games.

Marcus Hunt scored a team-high 29 points while Chen Chen made five of six three-pointers and scored 22 points for Sichuan. Shandong's Lester Hudson scored 31 points.

"We were well prepared for the game and our players did a very good job," Sichuan's head coach Zhou Jinli said after the game.

In the other three games on Thursday, the Shenzhen Aviators eased past the Tianjin Pioneers 126-95, the Beijing Ducks trounced the Nanjing Monkey Kings 126-88 while the Shanxi Loongs edged the Beijing Royal Fighters 95-89. Enditem
