The International Women's Day in 2020 is a remarkable day coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action adopted by World Conference on Women in Beijing and the critical moment in China's fight against the Corona Virus Disease. Beijing Women's Federation and GMW.cn launched a series of international exchange activities:On the one hand, the bilingual video clips made of warm holiday wishes from the envoys and friends of various countries will be dedicated to the global Internet friends. On the other hand, the story of Capital women's resistance to the "epidemic" will be spread to display women's power in China's governance, and the broad consensus about jointly combating the epidemic, and to jointly commemorate the remarkable International Women's Day.

On the eve of international women's day, ambassadors and their wives from 23 countries, including Algeria, Bahrain, Benin, Bulgaria, Comoros, Georgia, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, etc., diplomats, heads of foreign NGO, international family representatives won the title of the capital's most beautiful family, women entrepreneurs in different countries, international volunteers, representatives of overseas students offer condolences to the women on the front lines of battling the epidemic and share their thoughts on International Women's Day and gender equality in different forms.
